My name is Vannessa Watson
Vannessa ,is an AANP board certified family nurse practitioner. She is a native of McCreary County, and continues to call it home. She is of Christian faith and is thankful to call herself a child of God. She loves God, making memories with her family, camping, music, and traveling.
Vannessa is a 2005 graduate of McCreary Central high school. After high school, she began pursuing her nursing career. In 2012, she graduated from Somerset Community College with an associate degree of nursing science-Registered Nurse. In 2017, she received her Bachelors of nursing science degree from the University of the Cumberlands, and then in 2021, graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a Masters in nursing science- family nurse
practitioner.
Her tenure of nursing practice includes; neuroscience critical care nursing, acute stroke care, nursing management, nurse educator, and community/public health nursing. Her board certification in family practice allows her to provide care for all age groups across the lifespan, and provide treatment of all diagnoses including, preventive and wellness exams to chronic disease management.
