Brittany Alleshouse, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. Raised in Jackson County, Brittany has deep roots in her community and is committed to improving the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout the region. She is married and the proud mother of two boys.
Brittany earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in 2010 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2019. Driven by a passion for mental health care, she later obtained her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from EKU in 2023.
Her clinical practice encompasses comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, as well as psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children ages five and older, adolescents, and adults. Brittany has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of Adult ADHD and takes a holistic approach to mental health, focusing on the connection between physical, emotional, and psychological wellness.
In addition to primary and psychiatric care, Brittany is certified in substance use disorder treatment and provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including Suboxone®, Vivitrol®, Brixadi®, and Sublocade®. She also offers MyRisk® genetic testing, empowering patients to take a proactive approach to their health by identifying hereditary risk factors for certain conditions, supporting early detection strategies, and guiding personalized healthcare decisions.
With a strong focus on whole-person wellness, Brittany is dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting health, stability, and improved quality of life through individualized, patient-centered care.
