Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a treatment approach that combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders, particularly opioid use disorder (OUD). It aims to reduce cravings, prevent withdrawal symptoms, and help individuals achieve and sustain recovery.

Heather Hammack, APRN, FNP-C
Our London, Kentucky office is proud to have Heather Hammack, FNP, as a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). A proud Laurel County native, Heather has deep roots in our community and a true passion for serving others.
With an impressive educational background from Somerset Community College and the University of the Cumberland's Heather’s experience includes over 20 years in nursing which spans across a variety of healthcare fields, including intensive care, public health, opioid and addiction rehabilitation, and family practice. She is also a certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Heather’s dream has always been to provide compassionate, high-quality care to families in rural Kentucky, and she is thrilled to fulfill that dream at Family Health Care Associates. Her comprehensive approach to care ensures that every patient receives personalized attention and the best possible treatment.
When she’s not providing care, Heather enjoys serving at her church, camping, hiking, and exploring Kentucky's beautiful backroads with her family.
Casey Weddle, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Casey is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Family Healthcare Associates. Originally from Laurel County, Casey earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Lincoln Memorial University in 2024. Her nursing background includes experience in progressive care and home health through the Whitley County Health Department.
With a strong commitment to patient-centered care, Casey is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves. She values the human connection at the heart of nursing and strives to provide compassionate, personalized care to individuals and families across the lifespan.
Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Casey brings both clinical expertise and a deep sense of empathy to her practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, is active in her church community, and loves tackling DIY home projects.
Kyleigh West, LPCC
A dedicated Behavioral Therapist at Family Health Care Associates. With her expertise in mental health, Kyleigh provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals and families, helping them navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Kyleigh is committed to offering a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She works with individuals of all ages, helping them build coping skills, manage stress, and address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Kyleigh’s passion for supporting mental health and her dedication to empowering patients to lead healthier, happier lives make her a valuable member of our team. She is here to support you on your journey to mental wellness, with a focus on healing, growth, and long-term success.
